Battle of the Books

The CGMS Battle of the Books team has created a legacy of exceptional readers! Our team has won first place at the BCS competition for the last six years and has also placed at the regional and state levels in recent years. If you are an avid reader and love competing, see Mrs. Rogerson for more information. The team meets daily during Goal Time from 8:45-9:30. 

This year, the BOB team traveled to Charleston to study more about the setting of several books on the list. Students visited The International African American Museum, Boone Hall Plantation, and the College of Charleston. The team traveled to the regional BOB competition on April 10th and received second place in this event. Way to go Bulldogs!
