CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Students in this year long class can expect challenging choral literature, leadership opportunities, and festival preparation.
Sight Singing is a necessary skill for this group, and a requirement for participation in MPA. Classes rehearse sight singing weekly in class and are assessed twice per quarter.
This choir receives invitations to perform in various community events and represent CGMS throughout the school year, therefor, there is an expectation for excellence in behavior as well as the pursuit of musical growth both in and out of the choral classroom.
