First nine weeks: Unit 1: Matter 4 weeks, Unit 2: Energy 4 weeks

Second nine weeks: Unit 3: Waves 4 weeks, Unit 4: Earth's Systems 4 weeks

Third nine weeks: Unit 5: Earth and Human Activity 2 weeks, Unit 6: Earth and the Universe 5 weeks

Fourth nine weeks: Unit 7: Molecules to Organisms 3-4 weeks, Unit 8: Ecosystems 2 weeks

Social Studies: There are 6 units in Social Studies this year. 

First nine weeks: Unit 1: Think like a Historian, Unit 2: Early Humans and Civilizations

Second nine weeks: Unit 3: River Civilizations part 1, Unit 4: River Civilizations part 2 

Third nine weeks: Unit 4: River Civilizations part 2 continued, Unit 5: Classic Civilizations

Fourth nine weeks: Unit 6: East Meets West
