About Me

I am originally from the north so I talk fast and have a northern accent for sure! I received my BFA from Kutztown University in Kutztown, PA in 2007. I then received my MAT from Marywood University in Scranton, PA in 2013. I am currently working on my second masters in art therapy. While in Scranton, PA I worked for Central Park Flowers where I did numerous flower designs for president Obama and VP Biden, Tony Hawk & the cast of the Office! Just to name drop a few... 

 I am going into my 12th year of teaching art. I am just as excited about teaching art as I was when I first started! From 2014 - 2021 I taught at an all exceptional children's (EC) high school in Winston-Salem. When I moved to Brunswick County I work at Lincoln Elementary before becoming part of the pack pride family here at Town Creek!
