Meet Mrs. Moore

Hi! My name is Brianna Moore, and I'm so excited to be your child's first-grade teacher this year! I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from Lander University ('09), a Master of Education degree from Shenandoah University ('17), and an Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in Educational Leadership from Clemson University ('25). 

Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, I'm grateful to now call the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina home. After several wonderful years teaching 4-K and kindergarten, I'm excited to begin this new adventure in first grade and continue helping young learners grow in confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Candler Elementary truly feels like home, and I'm thankful to be part of such an incredible school community.

When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Jenn, and our two playful boxers, Joe and Ruby, who always keep us entertained! I also love reading, being outdoors, and making memories with my family.

I believe every child can learn and thrive in a classroom where they feel safe, valued, and encouraged. My goal is to create a learning environment that is joyful, engaging, and full of opportunities to grow. In our classroom, there will always be Moore fun, Moore learning, and Moore success!
