Sixth Grade
Current Project: Time Capsules
Sixth graders are currently working on creating a time capsule showcasing who they are at this moment in time. They will work on things in class as well as bring things in from home for their time capsules.
Seventh Grade
Current Project: Identity with Depth and Complexity
Seventh graders are learning about the Icons of Depth and Complexity using their own identities as background. Once they have brainstormed about who they are using the icons, they will learn a bit about creating a good presentation with a supporting slideshow. Finally, they will present all about themselves, using their slideshow.
Eighth Grade
Current Project: Bridging the Gap
Eighth graders have the opportunity to reflect on their transition to ACRMS, as well as research adolescent psychology in order to create a presentation for new students all about ACRMS. They will learn how to create a slideshow that supports their presentation, and present to class.
Battle of the Books
Battle of the Books will be happening this year! Check out this year's list and get reading if you're interested in joining. Ms. Luke and I have the sign up forms. We are starting Thursday, October 12 and students MUST have turned in the sign up sheet to participate.

Math Counts
Math Counts and the Sixth Grade Math Team will happen again this year! Ms. Penley and I are excited to get things started. If you need a sign up sheet, ask Ms. Penley or me. We are starting Thursday, October 5 and students MUST have turned in the sign up sheet to participate.
