Nurse Ashley (she/her) strives to provide a welcoming, judgement-free space where students can feel comfortable to share their health concerns.

Before becoming a school nurse, Nurse Ashley served as a Combat Medic in the United States Army Reserves for 8 years with one tour of duty in Iraq. She obtained her Associate Degree in Nursing from Asheville–Buncombe Technical Community College and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Tennessee State University. As a nurse, she has worked in cardiology, labor & delivery, and triage. She is a Nationally Certified School Nurse and a member of the National Association of School Nurses as well as the School Nurse Association of North Carolina.

In her free time, Nurse Ashley enjoys hiking and spending time with her family.
