Hello! I have been teaching at FES since 2003. Prior to that I taught 3rd grade and K-4 in Greenville, SC. I have my B.S. in Early Childhood Education from Erskine College, my M. Ed in the Teaching of Reading from Furman University, and my National Board Certification in Early/Middle Youth Literacy. I was Teacher of the Year for 2011-2012. I am AIG endorsed and a certified Reading Specialist for K-12.

I have two teenage boys, Joey & Alex. We enjoy reading, history, civics, trivia, puzzles, hiking, Super Mario & Marvel.
