I have been a teacher with Buncombe County Schools since the 2000-2001 school year, most recently at C.T. Koontz Intermediate.  I been at T. C. Roberson High School since 2014.

I believe that when we support students in finding what interests them, their natural drive and curiosity make them more interested in their learning and in taking an active part in planning their future.  I seek to help each student reach their potential and hold them accountable for doing their very best.

Students, I am thrilled to be able to share my love of the natural world and the scientific process with you. The world is a varied and wonderous place. There is so much to see, do, and investigate.

-Observe, question, and explore everything that you can.

General information for each course and about planning for life after high school can be found by clicking the headings at the top right corner of this page.

Our classes will access resources, our online textbook, and daily materials through Google Classroom throughout the semester.  Information, assignments, and resources are posted daily to support understanding of our content and offer materials and content information to anyone who misses class that day.

I am available before and after school for support with concepts or missed work. Students, please check with me to confirm that I am available prior to making changes to your transportation.

Parents, please feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions or to let me know a bit more about your child.  The best way to initiate contact is by email: dayna.ferguson@bcsemail.org
