Letter to Families

Dear Families, 

I am excited to welcome you and your child to our classroom. I am looking forward to this school year! I have 18 years of experience teaching all elementary grade levels, with the exception of kindergarten. Teaching is a special job. I feel privileged to work with children. They bring me joy each day!

Here is a little about myself. I love being outside and family time. Nature is my thing! I am happiest on the river, in the woods, or on a mountain top! I am passionate about caring for our environment and preserving wild places for our children to enjoy in the future. 

It is my mission to deliver high quality instruction to each student. I want to meet your child at their "just right" level and move them forward with a strong foundation. My intention is for students of all ability levels to be engaged in learning!  My hope is to build a classroom community that is affirming to all students and to maintain an environment that maximizes learning. 

I look forward to knowing each of you and working together to provide your child with a quality education. I will be in touch often! I am honored to be your child’s teacher. This will be an incredible school year!
