Profile of the BCSD Educator Recognition
Teacher Forum is looking to recognize an innovative educator at each school and give them some time in the spotlight! This new recognition focuses on the character traits exemplified in the Profile of the BCSD Educator. Each school will be featured for one month between October and January. Each Principal will receive an email on the first of the designated spotlight month. The Principal, in collaboration with the Teacher of the Year, should complete the nomination by the 15th of the designated month. Nominations should be based on the Profile of a Berkeley County Educator. Current or former TOYs are not eligible. A copy of the Profile is embedded in the brief nomination form. The brief nomination form will consist of the nominee, their Profile Traits, and two to three sentences explaining how these character traits elevate the learning environment for their students. Thank you for helping Teacher Forum recognize hidden BCSD innovators in education!
