Rotation 6 - Arts Attack

Arts 2 Rotation 6 continues with more techniques, introduction of artist and their work. Students will be challenged to use their observational skills, students learn to look carefully at their subject or object to create their composition. We will also challenge students to learn to dance Mambo with the bonus lesson.

Rotation 5 - Arts Attack

Arts 2 Rotation 5 continues with more techniques, introduction of artist and their work. Students will be challenged to use their creativity, elements of art and art techniques design their composition. We will also challenge students to learn to dance merengue with the bonus lesson.

Rotation 4 - Arts Attack

Arts 2 Rotation 4 is all about using some of the elements of art and concepts that focus on creativity. Students will use drawing techniques and methods to create compositions and will be able to identify, describe and critique the elements in a composition.

Rotation 3

Arts 2 Rotation 3 is all about using geometric and organic shapes in a pattern to create Tessellations. In addition, we will continue applying the one-point perspective drawing method to create vortex tessellations and optical illusions in our compositions. Students will follow step-by-step tutorials (video and drawings) and a tessellation application to accomplish their assignments.

Rotation 2

The focus of Arts Rotation 2 will be applying the one-point perspective drawing method to create block/bubble characters. Students will follow step-by-step tutorials (video and drawings) to accomplish their assignments. As a result of the application of one-point perspective and block/bubble characters, students will build 3D characters that will enhance the appearance of signs and artwork.

Rotation 1

Grid Art is the focus for Arts 2 Rotation 1. Students will follow step by step directions on using the grid art method (video/drawing) to recreate and replicate a subject by using line drawing in a provided grid format composition.

ARTSFirst 3days of school

The first 3 days of school is all about getting your groove on! Students will dance into the three days by going back in history. Indeed, one of the great dance moves that roar in the 1920's. Students will learn the history, dance steps and perform the Charleston dance.
