A Virtual Learning Day is a live, online school day. When necessary, BCSC may implement Virtual Learning Days for specific schools or district-wide due to inclement weather, student health concerns, or safety situations.
On a Virtual Learning Day, students participate in scheduled, real-time instruction with their teachers. Learning continues through live sessions and posted materials in our district learning management system, Canvas. Live lessons will be provided through our live instructional conferencing platform, Google Meet.
Students are expected to log in, attend their scheduled Google Meet sessions, and actively engage in learning during the school day.
