The Friends of Miyoshi Committee is a dedicated group of caring adults from Columbus and the surrounding community, committed to nurturing and strengthening the longstanding sister city relationship between Miyoshi and Columbus.

The Committee’s responsibilities include:

• Selecting the BCSC Ambassador who will represent our community in Miyoshi and lead the cultural exchange.

• Coordinating Host Families for visiting Miyoshi students and educators, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.

• Organizing and Overseeing Events during visits from Miyoshi, managing logistics, and creating meaningful cultural exchanges in Columbus, Indiana.

• Managing the Committee’s Finances, ensuring the smooth and transparent operation of all activities related to the Friends of Miyoshi program.

Through their efforts, the Friends of Miyoshi Committee plays a pivotal role in fostering international friendships, cultural understanding, and educational opportunities.
