I graduated from the University of Wisconsin (Go Badgers!) with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and have a Masters Degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and School Leadership from Ball State University. When I'm not working, you will probably find me outside, reading, or cheering on my favorite Wisconsin sports team! Personal Bio: I am starting my 22nd year of teaching with BCSC! Although I began my college path at Ball State, I happily ended my journey with a teaching degree from IUPUC. I have had the opportunity to teach science at Northside Middle School and currently teach Math in the alternative education program at McDowell. We serve kiddos from all the high schools. Outside of school, I am busy with family and friends doing the outdoor stuff.... Personal Bio: Hello! I just finished my 5th year as an 8th Grade U.S. History Teacher at Northside Middle School, and am excited for my first summer teaching Social Studies through Columbus Virtual Pathway. I love all things Social Studies and am excited to work with you. I graduated from Ball State University in 2018 with a double major in History and Social Studies teaching, and I just graduated this year from Ball State again with a Masters degree in School Administration. Although they often hurt me, I am an avid fan of the Indianapolis Colts, Cincinnati Reds, and Indiana Hoosiers. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports and cruising in my Jeep. Personal Bio: Sherry G. Ridgway has dedicated five years to teaching Secondary English at BCSC. Prior to her teaching career, she spent three decades serving as a nurse in Columbus. Her pursuit of knowledge led her back to school at the age of 40, where she earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature from IU Columbus. She has self published several books and poems over her career. Identifying as a perpetual student, she is embarking on another educational journey at the age of 59 while simultaneously fulfilling her role as an English teacher for BCSC. Sherry is a devoted mother, grandmother, and wife, with an unwavering passion for expanding her understanding and sharing her love for writing and literature, now also instructing digital learning at Columbus Virtual Pathway.

Personal Bio: Hello! I am Mr. Schiefer and I am a math teacher at Columbus North. I teach BC Calculus, Precalculus, and Calculus 3 along with being the facilitator at North for CVP Math Recovery courses. I earned my undergraduate degree in Secondary Education from Concordia University in Chicago and my masters degree in Mathematics Education from Webster University in St. Louis. When I am not teaching in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my wife and children at sporting events or swimming and boating at the lake. I am an avid fan of the University of Michigan (Go Blue!) and enjoy watching them participate in any sport. I look forward to helping students earn math credits this summer and feel free to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

Personal Bio: I have been with BCSC for 6 years now teaching at Columbus Signature Academy New Tech High School. I graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Secondary Mathematics Education and am currently taking classes towards my Master's Degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. I have been a mathematics teacher for the last 12 years spanning all mathematics content from Algebra 1 to Calculus. I've recently found a passion for being physically active. During my free time, you would find me in the gym, coaching my son in baseball, playing golf, or on rainy days, watching new movies/shows on different streaming services or playing games on my PC. Personal Bio: I am happy to be back at CVP this summer to teach several interesting electives!  I will start my second year at CVP this fall as a Special Education teacher. Prior to working at CVP, I taught English in BCSC since 2014. I have a degree in English Education and a Master’s Degree in Education. When I'm not at school, I love being outside in my yard or with friends and family on the water. Personal Bio: Welcome to CVP Summer School! I just completed my second year in BCSC, and I am a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Social Studies Education. My favorite thing about teaching high school is working to help young adults reach their goals and prepare for life after graduation.
