The following courses are available to students. Students may select a maximum of 2 courses to complete during the summer session. The number of hours listed represents the approximate time commitment for students to complete the course for initial credit.
**Please note that the A or B designation in the course name represents the corresponding semester.
Example: English 9A represents the first semester of the year-long English 9 course. English 9B would represent the second semester of that course.
If there is not a letter following the course title, that represents a semester-long course.
The student who received an F in the course and is re-taking the course to recover credits.
The student who received a C+ or lower in a course and is re-taking the course for a higher grade.
The student taking the course for the first time. Credit accrual courses usually require more classwork.
CVP Summer School courses use the same 12-point grading scale that is used at all BCSC high schools for courses during the academic school year.
At this time, Summer School is an elective option for students. Grades are entered into PowerSchool once the course has been completed.
If a student does not complete the class or withdraws from the class, no grade is issued.
If a student receives an F in their summer school course, no grade is entered into PowerSchool.
