Concert Band

Concert Band is for students with at least two full years of band experience immediately prior to enrollment. Students in 6^th, 7^th and 8^th grade who qualify for Concert Band are placed based on their skill level, instrumentation needs of each group, and musical leadership skills. This group is for serious music students who want to develop superior musicianship skills on a band instrument. Practice at home is required, yearly evening concerts are graded, and various weekend performance field trips are highly encouraged.
