AI is changing the world around us... but how will it change IT Service Management and IT Asset Management?
Is AI changing our fundamental understanding of "service" or merely enhancing our ability to serve without changing the basic principles of ITSM & ITAM that have supported us for so long. Will AI make better decisions than humans to manage assets & services?
At what cost?
What do people think?
What does AI think?
Join us on the 17th October to explore the impact of AI on our two streams - Service Management and IT Asset Management. We have a full agenda of thought provoking presentations across both disciplines, plus plenty of time for networking.

He is honoured to present to the British Computer Society on the topic of Artificial Intelligence, which he believes is the key to unlocking human potential and creating a better future for everyone.
The future of work is changing faster than any point in history firstly due to the unprecedented impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which has been chronologically immediately superseded by the accelerated development of artificial intelligence (AI). We will discuss how AI is transforming work practices at different scales, from individuals to teams, organizations, and society. We will also examine ways how AI can enhance our understanding of general intelligence, create new model architectures with novel emergent abilities, ensure societal benefit through the advancement of AI, transform scientific discovery, and extend human capabilities. We will discuss how we can, as individuals and organisations, make sense of this rapid change, unlock new possibilities to build new understanding and skills to enrich our experiences and create a better future for everyone.
Claire, our closing keynote speaker, is a highly experienced IT service architect and vice-chair at the itSMF.
We are delighted to have Claire join us to discuss the importance of mental health and well-being in the workplace.
Over the years, Claire has seen people on very tough delivery programs suffer significantly with mental ill-health and the impact it has had on not just the person themselves, but also on others e.g., loved ones, families, friends, colleagues, etc.
Claire is passionate about the need for companies to move beyond 'talking the talk' to 'walking the walk' - moving beyond 'Employee Advice Programs' where people can be signposted to, to understanding the root cause of the issues and fixing them.
In her talk, Claire will discuss how companies can 'put their money where their mouth is' to grow leaders and build teams which are truly people-focused, which deliver results while supporting the thing that really matters - our mental health and well-being.
