Open House Night -- August 24, 2026 -- This is a night in August that takes place to allow students and parents the chance to come and see their new classroom and meet the teacher.
Technology Information Night -- September 17, 2026 -- This is a night to learn about Schoology & PowerSchool for families.
Title 1 Parent Meeting -- September 28, 2026 -- Attend a virtual meeting to learn about the Title 1 program at Nickels.
Fall Parent Teacher Conferences -- October 13 & 15, 2026 -- An opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with the student's teacher early in the school year to address any concerns and/or discuss student progress and achievement.
Spring Parent Teacher Conferences -- March 1 & 3, 2027 -- A second opportunity for parents and guardians to meet with the student's teacher to address any concerns and/or review student progress and achievement.
Schoology -- Parents can use Schoology to check student assignments and classroom activities.
PowerSchool -- Parents can log in to PowerSchool to keep up with student grades and progress.
Parent Surveys -- A couple different parent surveys are usually sent out throughout the school year to give parents and guardians the opportunity to make their voices heard.
School Messenger -- Parents are able to sign up to receive regular communication from Nickels.
