Band Director, Chris Caldwell

The band is under the direction of Chris Caldwell. Mr. Caldwell is in his seventeenth year as the director of the Cavalier Bands. Since his arrival the band has grown from 30+ members to over 100 members. Mr. Caldwell resides in Botetourt County with his wife and three children. Mr. Caldwell has served as a guest clinician for area honor bands as well as serving as a clinician for area schools preparing for assessment. Mr. Caldwell has also served as a General Effect and Visual Ensemble/Individual Adjudicator in numerous competitions. Other duties at Lord Botetourt include Head Indoor & Outdoor Track Coach, School Webmaster, School Technology Contact, and Instructional Leader for the Electives Department.
