Academic and Career Plans (ACPs)

What is the ACP?

The Academic Career Plan (ACP) is a working document that students begin at some point during their 7th grade year in their Career Exploratory Class (7th grade music students will meet with a counselor sometime during the 7th grade year to get their ACP started).

This fluid and ever changing document starts to identify how a students’ interests, strengths, and values can support their future career goals. The ACP also lays out a 4 year academic plan that supports the students interests/strengths and career goals. Refer to the Career Counseling section on the CAMS School Counseling tab for information on the Career Instruction provided at each grade level.
