This is the premier band of Western High School. Our Band has been around uninterrupted for over 50 years. We play Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop, Jazz, R&B, and Classical Music. Our Band is made of 60 students who perform through Baltimore and the Region. Our band has played for the Mayor of Baltimore City, in local Parades, and at Towson University for our Annual Music Ed-Remix through Arts Everyday Inc. Participants in the Western High School Show Band have received over 100k in band scholarships from Morgan State University, Howard University, University of Maryland College Park, Hampton University, and Delaware State University. Our marching band, notoriously known as the Poly-Western Marching Flock performs at football games on the school and college level, and participates in competitions throughout the region.
