Unit Objective:
Students will be able to research a social justice topic of choose in order to produce a composition that brings awareness to that topic through multiple media devices in the Soundtrap App and Youtube.
Hello,
Welcome to the asynchronous site for Instrumental Music at Western High School. This site holds the Weekly Lessons and resources necessary to help guide students to a rich and rigorous 21st century music program. Our "Music Doves" engage in culturally responsive lessons that also help prepare them for the world ahead of them through the art of music making. We have a fully comprehensive music program that involves all of the domains: Music Technology, Pre-AP Music, and Band Classes levels 1-4.
Being the current Music technology Chair for the Maryland Music Educators Association allows me to push the bar of excellence high with access to music programs and applications that gauge and assess students in an enriching way.
