Office 365 is the City Schools cloud-based, Microsoft Office tool suite. It provides staff access to all of the standard Office applications, such as One Note, Word and Excel. It also is the mail and calendar service that staff must use for all work related email. Additionally, Office 365 gives staff UNLIMITED storage in their One Drive.
Office 365 provides tools for collaboration across teams, devices, and platforms. Teachers and Students can access Office 365 using their network username and password. It is important to note that while all students have access to Office 365, only students in grades 9-12 have working email accounts.
It is important to note that through our Office 365 subscription plan, all staff and students have access to 5 free licenses of Microsoft Office that can be installed on personal computers. This access will be free for as long as the user is an employee or student of the district.
Remember, that all staff have email through Outlook and it is a district expectation that this resource be used for all work-related email communication.
In addition, all district curriculum documents can be accessed through Office 365.
