How do I start recycling at my school?
Review the Recycling Toolkit under Goal 3 Conserve Natural Resources, and then email Green@bcps.k12.md.us. Recycling is collected by the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW) and a school must enroll each fall and summer. Once the enrollment deadline is past, a school may not participate. The deadline is usually October 31st!

Yes! Review the MD Green School page to learn about the program. It focuses on teacher professional development, in-class lessons, out-of-class student activities, and partnerships, not on how "green" your physical building is.
