All participants have been pre-registered for their morning session based on their Systemic PL November attendance. When logging into Kickup, review the ‘upcoming events’ tab on your homepage to locate your morning session.
Q: I cannot remember how to log into my City Schools/ Zoom account. Can I get help?

Q: What should I do if I need help with my password and login?
A: Please call the OIT Service Support center at 443-642-3000. They can assist with password resets and troubleshooting login issues.
Q: Will I need my work laptop to attend PD?
A: Yes, your work device will allow you to connect to the network and access all the district's apps.
Q: I work at a charter school. Can I register for Systemic Professional Learning?
A: Charter schools opt-in to participate in Systemic Professional Learning on an annual basis. The schools listed below have opted-in to district-provided Professional Learning for SY 24-25.

Q: Can educators log into virtual Professional Learning and the morning virtual opening from home?
A: No, all City Schools’ employees must engage in virtual options at school sites.
Q: Will there be parking at the content sites?
A: Since we are using school buildings as Professional Learning host sites, we know that parking may be a challenge. We ask for your patience and understanding. Please use the schools’ parking lots and nearby streets, and be sure to avoid parking in restricted spaces. Teachers attending Professional Learning at Poly/Western campus are asked to carpool.
Q: Is registration required?
A: Yes, all City Schools’ employees must register for the courses prior to attending. Registration data allows our facilitators better prepare for the courses, so that they can support their participants’ needs. All educators are expected to register by 11:59 pm on the evening prior to the scheduled Professional Learning date.
Q: Do I need to turn my camera on during virtual learning?
A: Yes, all facilitators and participants of virtual learning will be required to have their cameras on. This is a part of the virtual learning etiquette and employees’ professional responsibilities. Simply put, it is a matter of collegiality and professional respect: being engaged, present, and avoiding multitasking and distractions makes any virtual learning a better use of everyone’s time! This rule does not apply to the morning virtual openings.
Q: Will lunch be provided?
A: We are unable to provide breakfast or lunch; however, we are bringing food trucks to all content sites. Educators are responsible for for their own food purchases.
Q: I am attending a “By Invitation Only” Course; it is not listed in the KickUp catalog. Do I still register for it using the general registration link?
A: Yes, please. We are ensuring that we are capturing accurate attendance records for all educators.
Q: I am a substitute teacher. Can I attend Systemic Professional Learning?
A: Yes! Please browse the offered courses and look for “All Educators” in the Differentiation tag. You are also welcome to attend courses designated for Paraprofessionals.
Q: May Principals and Assistant Principals participate in Systemic Professional Learning?
A: Absolutely! We encourage school leaders to learn alongside their teachers. However, please note that for capped courses (courses with limited seats), teachers get priority seats.
