MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Supporting Each Other, Growing Together.
The BCPFFA Human Relations Committee is proud to offer a peer-led mentorship network to support members in all stages of their fire service careers. Whether you're navigating a new role, returning from leave, seeking leadership growth, or looking for work-life balance support — we’re here for you.
The BCPFFA Human Relations Committee invites members from all roles and backgrounds to become mentors. Whether you're an experienced leader or someone who’s walked a unique path, your perspective could mean a lot to someone starting out.
You decide how you're listed, when you're available, and how mentees contact you.
Mentors play a key role in building connection, leadership, and well-being across the fire service. You don’t need formal training — just a willingness to share and support.

📝 Become a Mentor – Sign-Up Form
Below are experienced BCPFFA members who’ve volunteered to support others in their professional and personal journeys. Each has shared a little about themselves and what topics they’re comfortable discussing.
If a mentor’s contact info is listed, feel free to reach out directly. Mentorship is informal, flexible, and based on mutual respect.
🔒 Only mentors who have consented to share their contact information are listed here. Not all mentors are public.
Mentorship is a powerful way to build connection, share lived experience, and support each other across the BCPFFA. If you see a mentor in the directory you'd like to reach out to, you have two options:
Direct Contact: If the mentor has shared their email publicly, feel free to reach out directly.
Private Contact via HRC: If no email is listed, you can request a connection through the Human Rights Committee. We’ll forward your request, and the mentor can choose to follow up with you directly.
We respect the privacy and capacity of all mentors and mentees — participation is voluntary, and not all requests may result in a match.
