Formation for Racial Justice

“The School of Theology and Ministry prepares pastoral leaders and theological scholars to inspire others to imagine possibility and live with radical hope. We do this through a curriculum that honors a diversity of perspectives about what it means to be in relationship with God, others, and the world. We model it through pedagogical commitments that foster serious inquiry and life-giving empowerment. We bring it to life through our research and service.”

Bias-related Policy and Reporting

Your Feedback Matters!

The School of Theology and Ministry at Boston College "commits itself to maintaining a welcoming environment for all people and extends its welcome in particular to those who may be vulnerable to discrimination, on the basis of their race, ethnic or national origin, religion, color, age, gender, marital or parental status, sexual orientation, veteran status, or disabilities.

At Boston College and the STM, persons are strongly encouraged to file a bias-related incident report here when they have been the target of or witness to a hate crime or any other bias-related incident. Those who feel that an incident is significant,  but do not wish to file a  formal grievance with the Office of Institutional Diversity (OID),  are invited to speak with a CORE student representative.
