Step 1: Build your temperature sensing circuit

First, gather your temperature sensing circuit materials (pictured right).

Step 2: Code your temperature sensing circuit

Step 3: Code your LED lights to change color based on the temperature

First, add your neopixels to your temperature sensing circuit. Go to the Episode 1 Page if you need help remembering how to connect your neopixels. Your electronics should look like this when you're done:

Make a few lanterns by taking a basic paper shape and adding layers of paper show off your LEDs in different ways

Program your LEDs to show a real-time bar graph that indicates the temperature of your garden

Experiment

Observe how temperature affects your seedlings growth by using the heat mat that came with this weeks kit. Try putting the heating mat under one half of your seedlings. What happens?
