Global Research for Outcomes and Well-being in TB/HIV and Healthcare Education
The GROWTH Lab aims to build upon research in comprehensive TB/HIV care, develop innovative models of healthcare education, and teach the next generation of researchers in implementation science methods to improve health systems and patient outcomes. Brittney van de Water, PhD, RN, CPNP is the PI of the GROWTH Lab and most of her research is based in sub-Saharan Africa, primarily in Eastern Cape, South Africa and through her role as Associate Director for Pediatric Nursing for Seed Global Health in Malawi, Uganda, Sierra Leone, and Zambia. She is an Associate Professor at Boston College and collaborates with colleagues across the United States and globally.
