Collaborating Partners
This competition would not be possible without the Schiller Institute for Integrated Science and Society, the BC Undergraduate Student Government Environmental Sustainability Division, Carroll School of Management Undergraduate Programs, Winston Center for Leadership and Ethics, The Hatchery, and Start@Shea.
Due to the support of the BC Design and Innovation Department, the Hatchery Makerspace staff and student employees will offer "design consultations" for all interested teams. The four overarching areas they can help with are: Physical manufacturing, IT/Dev, textiles, graphics. Staff will guide them through making things on their own. Ideally teams will have 4 weeks between when they have their initial design consultation and the finished product. So, if think you want to work with the Makerspace, get started early!
Start@Shea is offering teams guidance on how to navigate the competition process. The group has expertise in answering case prompts effectively and producing impactful presentations.
