PikMyKid Dismissal App

PikMyKid Dismissal App

PikMyKid is a dismissal software that is intended to simplify dismissal, reduce traffic congestion, and most importantly, improve overall safety. The unique features of PikMyKid allow you, as parents, to easily change pick-up modes, quickly delegate to an alternate individual for pickup, change to an ‘After School’ program, and even schedule for future pickup mode, pickup individual, and after-school programs. This app allows you to be in full control of your child’s dismissal and it gives the school information regarding dismissal and the ability to acknowledge every change and instantly check your child’s dismissal status should you have a question.

To Learn a little more on your own, please check out the following link that will show you a few of the PikMyKid features. https://www.pikmykid.com/features/for-parents/

All families will need to download the application and complete the registration process. The student information should be populated into the program. Please register in the app prior to our parent orientation nights. This will allow us to see who still needs information populated and assist families on that evening.

Below are a few resources to assist with the process.

Daily Report

You will receive a Daily Report via email each day after school.  If you have questions, please email Miss Kolis to ask.

The next morning, please send a quick email to Miss Kolis at kolism@bbhcsd.org to tell her:

Homework

A homework packet will come home each week on Monday.  Homework is NEVER counted for a grade so please do not feel obligated to complete it.  The homework is for practice.  Your child CAN turn in the homework when it is completed, however, and I will check it.

How to Access Google Classroom with Your Child

1. On your computer or device, go to Google Chrome.  If you don't have it, go to the internet and download the Chrome browser.

2. Log out of your own adult Google account (if you are in one).

3. Sign in to your child's account.

His username is: last name, first initial, date of birth then @bbhcsd.org.

His password is BBHand then the five numbers in her lunch number.

(I have all of these available, so please ask if you don't have it!)

4. Go to the "waffle" that shows the Google Apps and click on Google Classroom.

5. All of your child's Google Classrooms will appear (There's one for B106, one for homeroom, and one for each special).

See the slides below for an even better explanation.
