I earned a Bachelors in Education from The University of Akron and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University.

Starting in 1992 I taught grade 7 math for 6 years in the Cleveland Heights-University Heights City Schools after having been a substitute teacher in the Mentor Schools for 2 years.

I came to the Brecksville-Broadview Heights City Schools in 1998 and taught at the middle school for 12 years.  During that time I taught grade 8 pre algebra, Enriched Algebra 1, Honors Geometry and keyboarding.

Since the 2010-2011 school year I have been teaching at BBHHS where I have taught Geometry, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Algebra II/Trigonometry and Data Science.

In 2023 I began training other teachers as a facilitator for the Introduction to Data Science Curriculum Team.

I look forward to working with all of my students and helping them see the importance of problem-solving and thinking mathematically as important life long skills.
