CHILD FIND PROCEDURES
Under New Jersey State Law, each school district must provide for free educational assistance to any child between the ages of 3 and 21 who has been identified by the local Child Study Team as being disabled. This also includes migrant workers and the homeless.
If one suspects a child may have a physical, mental and/or emotional difficulty which may interfere with his/her ability to learn, please contact the Bradley Beach Elementary School Director of Special Services, Alison Zylinski.

Referrals to the Child Study Team should be made in writing. In the letter, please include:
Child’s Name
Date of Birth
Address
Parents Name and Phone Number
Parents Email Address
Reason for Referral (Describe the concerns you have for the child and how it is impacting the student’s functioning)
Letters can be hand delivered to the Main Office or mailed:

Procedimientos de búsqueda de niños
Según la ley estatal de Nueva Jersey, cada distrito escolar debe brindar asistencia educativa gratuita a cualquier niño entre 3 y 21 años que haya sido identificado por el Equipo de Estudio Infantil local como discapacitado.
