Prof. P.S. Rajinikanth is a distinguished academic and researcher in the field of pharmaceutical sciences, currently serving as the Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (BBAU), Lucknow. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and has over 15 years of research and teaching experience.
His research expertise lies at the intersection of pharmaceutics, drug delivery systems, nanomedicine, nanofibers, and regenerative medicine. Prof. Rajinikanth's work focuses on developing innovative drug delivery strategies to enhance therapeutic efficacy, with a strong emphasis on translational research.
Prof. Rajinikanth has mentored numerous postgraduate and doctoral students, fostering a dynamic research environment. He has published extensively in high-impact journals, with an h-index of 25 and over 2,500 citations. His contributions to pharmaceutical sciences have earned him recognition both nationally and internationally.
In addition to his role at BBAU, he serves as an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology, Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, further expanding his academic collaborations and research outreach.
