The Bay Shore School District is offering 50 live virtual digital learning professional learning opportunities. These sessions are led by our Digital Learning Specialists (Christina Picardi and Mark Lane) and Eastern Suffolk BOCES Model Schools Teacher Integration Specialists. We also have on-demand sessions available via OTIS for Educators. All sessions are eligible for 6 hours of professional development (PD) credit and New York State Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) credit.


The Summer Institute begins on Monday, July 8th, and most sessions run daily from 9:00 am - 10:30 am (1.5 hours) and 11:00 am - 12 pm (1 hour). Digital Learning Summer Institute Schedule ( Bay Shore School District G-Suite Log in Required)

OTIS for educators is an online professional development platform with hundreds of courses on trending topics, technology integration, lesson content, and more. All sessions are hosted by state-certified PD Specialists.

To receive credit towards your 6-hour PD requirement, submit an Out of District PD Form via PDMS. Certificates or letters of completion must be sent to Donna Rock (drock@bayshoreschools.org) in the Office of Instructional Services.

TEQ is hosting a series of professional learning sessions to boost your skills, learn the latest pedagogy, and get hands-on experience with the classroom tech you’ll need to make the 2023-2024 school year a success. Courses include boot camps on Google, SMART, Microsoft, and even eSports!
