Language. Access. Multicultural. People. (LAMP) is a non-profit organization that provides interpreting services 24 hours, 7 days a week. Their services include in-person, phone, and virtual interpreters, translation and localization, and education/training.

Bilingual Glossaries and Cognates from the NYS Statewide Language Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network are valuable resources for learning academic English in an out of the classroom.
The Learner's Dictionary by Merriam-Webster gives you simple, clear definitions for any English word you search. The site also has a word of the day and answers to English grammar questions.
Word to word printed dictionaries provide translations of individual words without definitions. They can be purchased on sites like bilingualdictionaries.com and Amazon.
Google Translate has a website, Chrome extension, and an app you can put on your phone. It allows you to type, take pictures of text, speak and listen to translations.
International Institute of St. Louis (IISTL) is a community immigrant and information center. Its services include immigration assistance, resettlement, education and workforce placement. IISTL also offers assistance to vulnerable populations such as those with disabilities and the elderly. They have economic development and community outreach programs.

Immigrant Home English Program (IHELP) connects immigrant and refugee adults with teacher volunteers to learn and English and life skills while building personal connections. IHELP provides in-home help and tools to assist with English learning and navigating a new community. They also offer curriculum and study for the US Citizenship Exam.

They provide care packages for the homeless living on the streets of St. Louis as well hot meals and other items for families in the Gateway 180 Shelter.
