Bauxite Honors Veterans: “From the Mines to the Frontlines”
On November 11, 2025, the Bauxite Museum proudly hosted the 250th Veterans Day Celebration, titled “From the Mines to the Frontlines.” This milestone event brought together guests and veterans from across the state to honor those who have served our nation.
During the ceremony, two distinguished veterans were presented with handmade quilts in recognition of their service. A reception followed, offering time for fellowship and reflection.
The remarkable turnout and heartfelt tributes made this year’s celebration one that will be remembered for years to come.
