Although we are wrapping up chapter 2, we will continue to work on addition/subtraction throughout the year, all the way up to the millions place.
For this week, please work on the following:
Go Math Chapter 3, Lessons 1 through 4. Lesson 1 is very quick, but it will help with Lesson 2. For Lesson 3, I've included my samples below for how I will be teaching this in class. Lesson 4 continues to utilize our "rounding" skills. Parents, I've included reteach pages for this chapter if you'd like to use those as a tool for your at-home instruction.
IXL Suggested Skills: These will appear on your student's IXL dashboard. You could also enter the 3-digit code directly into the IXL magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner of your IXL home screen. (Ch. 3, Lesson 1: GGE, QKB; Ch3. Lesson 2: 9R5, YCW; Ch. 3, Lesson 3: W6B, 2RP, CZX; Ch. 3, Lesson 4: WDG)
Work on fact fluency using flashcards, dice, cards...whatever it takes :)
On Thursday/Friday (October 1,2), we will have a short quiz on Chapter 1. We worked on problems in the "review pages" to prepare for this. Please review the following problems on pages 29-34: 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9, 11, 14, 15, 20.

Chapter 2: Lessons 2.1 (41-42), 2.2 (47-48), 2.3 (pages 53-54), 2.4 (pages 59-60), 2.5 (pages 65-66) Due by 10-2-26
Parents/Students: Please correct the work and reteach if necessary. At the end of each chapter, staple the pages together that are due, make sure the student's first and last name are on the top, parent sign at the top, and turn-in to me during math class. Many thanks!
