YOU ARE GOING TO START POSTING YOUR WEEKLY CREATIVE CHALLENGES TO YOUR FEEDBACK LOOP DESIGN TEAM PADLETS...
They are assigned on Monday and will be graded on the following Tuesday.
You can always go back and catch up on past ones.
Who inspires you within your art career? Share a bit about the artist and why you admire the art.
If you do not have an inspiring artist that you admire already, do some research into your field and share with your feedback loop the name of the person you found.
Post in your Feedback Loop Padlet.
In your feedback loop Padlet...
1: Why did you pick the art career you did? What do you hope to learn or improve on in the art field?
In your sketchbook (or digitally, or through photography)...
In sketchbook...
You can draw them all on one page or on different pages...
Practice eyes, noses, mouths... Cartoon or realistic...
Maybe draw two famous faces on the same page and write a conversation they would have today.
Digitally...
same as above, but using layers in a graphic program.
Photography...
Shoot 4 portrait photos of the same person or animal, or different people/animals.
Think about rule of thirds and composition.
In your sketchbook (or digitally, or through photography)...
In sketchbook...
1-Draw 30 circles on the page (any configuration)
2-Inside each of the circles, turn the blank circles into recognizable objects (think clock faces, billiard ball, etc.) New concept in each circle. You may add small details outside the circle if necessary
Digitally...
1-Open the 30 circle template, or draw circles using the Shape tool. Hold Shift to make circle instead of oval. the template is on the Circle Padlet attached below and where your final images should go. 2- same 2 as above.
Photography...
1- Throughout you day, take photos of things that are circles. Change your angles of perspective so that the circle photographed is not an oval, but a circle. Remember to pull your camera away a bit and zoom in a tad if you are getting the "phone shadow". Go to the grocery store...there are lots of things there... Look around your house, go for a walk.
2- Position all 30 photos into a grid in a Google Slide, in Photopea, or someway of getting them all on one page...Google doc? Next week we will dig into drawing some faces...
---> If making Google Slide show, please share your slide show with anyone at Battlegroundps.org or make public... thanks.
---Add to Padlet linked above.

Yes, you may add more than one.
...then explore the world map... zoom out and in... and Comment on at least 2 peoples favorite places. (yes, you may comment more!)

Be prepared to show your Planning process and Creation in our meeting this week.
See if you can upload an image of your mind map and your art creation to Google Classroom.
Use the Add>> File Button located in google Classroom. The assignment listed is the Week 2 Creativity Type.
When you add your images to Google Classroom, they go automatically into your Google Drive. How cool is that!
Did you also know that you can get the Google Classroom App on your phone and you can add images right off your phone camera roll into Google Classroom Assignments?..That is cool too!
WHAT? REALLY! YES! Do IT!
Think of putting things in Google Classroom as a safe storage box.
---It goes in there and it is protected by being on your Drive and turned into your teacher.
---Putting things in Google Classroom allow me, as the teacher...to leave Private Comments to you and you to me.
Please take the following survey to help discover your creative personality.
Everyone has a Creative Type. What’s yours?
The Creative Types test is an exploration of the many faces of the creative personality. Based in psychology research, the test assesses your basic habits and tendencies—how you think, how you act, how you see the world—to help you better understand who you are as a creative. Answer these 15 questions and you’ll gain a deeper understanding of your motivations, plus insight into how to maximize your natural gifts and face your challenges.
These personality types aren’t black-and-white labels. Think of them more as signposts pointing you toward your full creative potential. While there’s probably one core type that best describes you, you may change types at different points in your life and career, or even at different stages of the creative process. As a creative, you have a little bit of all eight Types inside you.
You will use this info for the Week 2 (9/B) Assignment.
