Criminology Single Honours, Criminology Major:
You must take 40 credits as follows:
Semester 1:
CRI6002-40/1 Criminology Dissertation (Part 1, Semester 1, worth 20 out of the 40 credits total)
Semester 2:
CRI6002-40/2 Criminology Dissertation (Part 2, Semester 2, worth 20 out of the 40 credits total)
AND
You must take 40 credits from any of the following modules:
Semester 1:
CRI6100-20 Punishment and Penology in Global Context*
CRI6106-20 Victims and Victimisation*
Semester 2:
CRI6102-20 Narratives of Crime*
*You must select 40 credits to meet the Compulsory Module rule but you are also permitted to take more of these modules if you wish. Therefore they are listed again in the Optional Module section below.
Criminology Combined Honours, Criminology Minor:
You must take 20 credits from any of the following modules:

Semester 2:

An Open Module is a module offered to all students by a Subject that is not your own. You can pick ONE 20 credit Open Module per academic year in order to broaden your study. This Open Module is selected instead of one 20 credit Optional Module. Please note that students can opt to select an Open Module from a different level of study.
