1.Brief description and aims of module:
This module aims to enable FTDP students to work in groups (between 3 and 6) in order to produce a substantial artefact, based on the planning and development work carried out in FTV6*** Collaborative Group Project 1. This artefact can be of the student’s own choosing, but must be located within the context of the programme (i.e. film, TV or digital production).
Students will design, plan and work as a team to complete an ambitious and large-scale project i.e. a film, TV or digital production. This will involve students ‘crewing’ into small groups, defining and presenting their role/s in the group using team-building theory, working to industry standard practices within defined roles, and delivering the project within set timeframes to a high quality.
The module provides a platform on which students develop industry specific skills, engaging creatively with the specialist skillsets of students from other subject areas.
