1.Brief description and aims of module:

Professional portfolio is a culmination of the work developed in semester 1. In this module you finalise your work to a professional standard and present your outputs as an outward facing showcase of your skills. The nature of this showcase will reflect the type of skills being presented. This is not limited to but might include public facing music performances, mixed and mastered mini album playback events, multi media presentations. You will collate this material and present it as an online showcase (website with linked social media platforms relevant to their specialism). These digital showcases, which will include recordings of the live events, will serve as a calling card for your career aims.

2.Outline syllabus:

• Final skills training relating to chosen specialism

• Presentation skills (live and/or digital)

• Personal marketing and career strategies relating to chosen specialism

3.Teaching and learning activities:

Weekly group lectures (in Music Lab) and individual tutorials by appointment
