You will also work as a team to plan and organise an exhibition of the project outcomes.
2.Outline syllabus:
In this module, you will be encouraged to take creative risks, to experiment and explore your design identity by employing critically evaluated and focussed creative research. You will be encouraged to develop an increased awareness of the significance of cultural and historical contexts for the understanding of clothing through extensive object analysis and extended research and use this to develop creative and innovative contemporary fashion outcomes, developing ideas through the interpretation of traditional techniques with new technologies.
You will be encouraged to develop appropriate fabrications within a defined context, critically evaluate the practical solutions associated with three-dimensional interpretation, and employ project management skills.
You will build on your technical knowledge through demonstrations and workshops in drape, and be encouraged to express ideas in an increasingly confident and creative way both visually, two and three dimensionally, and verbally.
