Relational pedagogy is an approach to teaching sees the integration of technology as a communal endeveaour between the educator and the pupils. Both share a valued goal, they have a vested interest in enlarging their capabilities through the use of a particular technology. In this case we are talking about immersive reality, virtual reality, augmented reality. In the figure below I depict the interaction between the educator and the pupils. This mutual endeveaour should be pursued meta-reflexively, that is detached from an individualistic stance. Instead the goal is to achieve a level of integration with the educator and the group. This is what Donati (2013) calls the WE-CONTEXT. In such a context that is permeated by this shared valued goal, a relational good will emerge, and that is the technological object (which in this case is represented by the meaningful integration of an immersive pedagogy mediated by virtual reality).
