We would like to share some COVID-19 related information with you as you prepare to travel to Dartmouth.
Will we remain socially distanced indoors?
Dartmouth does not require maintaining social distancing of 6 feet indoors; however, the room that we have requested for our symposium will allow for social distancing.
Will masks be required?
Yes, until further notice, there is a protocol in place that requires anyone accessing any Dartmouth campus building to wear a face covering. This policy can be found here: https://covid.dartmouth.edu/face-mask-policy
Will we be having group meals? If so, will there be space to spread out?
Yes, we will be having several group meals but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to social distance. The restaurants where we will be having our meals will likely be crowded and will likely not allow sufficient space to maintain social distancing, but they do follow strict safety protocols. We are in the process of exploring options for outdoor seating.
For the Dartmouth Coach protocols, please visit:
https://dartmouthcoach.com/clean-commitment-standards-and-procedures-to-keep-you-safe/. The section “Passenger and Employee Safety” reads in part: “For now, we are requiring a face-covering be worn throughout your journey with us, if you don’t have a mask, we will be happy to provide you with one.”
Please know that this information is accurate at the present moment and of course is subject to change, as we all know this is very fluid. We will do our best to create a safe environment for everyone.
Please let us know if we may answer any other questions.
