Mariano Rivera, yes the Mariano Rivera yankees legend visited Liberty High School on October 27 during an annual breakfast. He spoke about the importance of education and how he always believed in himself. He let the students ask questions and let the media know that he is not going to be coach of the yankees because Joe Girardi left. Mariano also talked to them about the big game, freedom vs liberty. He secretly wanted Liberty to win. Mariano Rivera gave Liberty inspiration and hope.

Esports is growing bigger and bigger by the month. With bigger tournaments, more fans, more rewards, and a bigger community. In case you don’t know what Esports is, then I should probably tell you. Esports is a huge form of tournaments, and games like football and other sports, except it’s not. Instead it’s Video Games, yes, Video games are becoming a sport. It mainly consists of FPS games (First Person Shooters), such as CS-Go, Overwatch, Call Of Duty, Halo, CounterStrike and many more. Also Other non-first person games, such as Madden, Fifa, League Of Legends, World Of Warcraft, and Rocket League. Now, It’s not just average people in these tournaments, it’s pro-gamers. Just like a random person can’t just join the NFL, it’s the same concept. These pro-gamers can earn up to 3,000,000 dollars. People are part of certain teams, such as the FaZe clan, OG, Titan and many more(I like cloud 9). My favorite game that is played in Esports is Overwatch. I love the game and see pro’s doing things my fingers get tired of doing just looking.The game company “Blizzard” creates some of the most popular Esports game such as Dota 2, and Starcraft.
