Cricut Update @ William Penn: After numerous attempts to make the Cricut machine work @ William Penn I have finally created a work around.

Download and install app: Teachers still download the app and install the Cricut Design app on their Chromebook as per the directions below.
Create account and design projects: Teachers create a design account and use their Chromebook to create projects.
Using the Cricut machine: Teachers will use a loaner Macbook Air to 1) Log into their Cricut account, 2) Open a project to be cut, 3) Choose the Cricut "Maker" from the dropdown machine menu, 4) Click the "Make" button to mske their project.

Cricut Design App on a Chromebook:

The Cricut design app is in the Google Play store on your Chromebook. To open the app follow these directions:

1- Go to the Launcher icon (white circle) on the bottom left-hand side of your Chromebook and open up the Launcher window.

2- Fined the Google Play icon and click on it.

3- When the Google Play window opens find the Cricut Design Space icon and click on it.

4- A new window opens and click Install, then click open.

5- The Design App window will appear and you will see it is in the shape of a tall rectangle. Click the dropdown menu on the top where it says Phone and select Resizable. Click Allow resizing and then resize your window as big as you would like it.

6- Click sign in. If you already have a Cricut account type in your ID and Password. If you don’t have an account, click Create Cricut ID and create an account.
