"Tales of the Towpath" Now and Later Selfies

A project linking art, literature, and history by 4th Grade

Tales of the Towpath: Adventures Along the Lehigh & Delaware Canal is a children's book about a man's return to his childhood, a journey back to an age when anthracite coal was fueling America's industries and canals were the country's highways.

As the story's main character looks back on his life, students were inspired to imagine themselves at 85!
