Professional Portfolio

As part of Bellefonte’s New Teacher Induction (NTI) program, all participants are required to create and maintain a professional portfolio. This portfolio serves as a space to document your growth and demonstrate proficiency in the Components of Professional Practice outlined in the PDE Framework for Evaluation.

You will receive guidance on how to:

• Make a copy of the official portfolio template (which is embedded below)

• Share your portfolio and folder with your mentor and supervisor

• Organize and upload your evidence and reflections throughout the year

More detailed guidance can be found in the BASD Induction Program Handbook, which is linked elsewhere on this site. Additionally, time be will be worked in to every NTI meeting for participants to engage in work related to their portfolio.

While we encourage use of the district-provided template for consistency, we also understand that some educators may prefer alternative digital platforms. If you’d like to propose a different method for creating your portfolio, please reach out to Jackie Wynkoop for approval before proceeding.
